The Dexlyn Perpetuals Testnet is now live. This is a big step forward as we prepare to bring leveraged trading on-chain. While the platform is fully functional for testing, we want to be upfront with our community about the current limitations, bugs, and areas under review.
Here’s a breakdown of the known issues identified during internal testing and early community feedback. We’re actively tracking all of them and working toward improvements with each patch.
- TP value may calculate incorrectly in some scenarios, sometimes exceeding 900+
- Slippage visuals may appear inconsistently across the interface
- Users may experience general latency during various interactions
- Certain dApp interface elements may fail to render properly
- Entering a decimal value activates the button, but further input resets its active state
- Attempting a partial close may trigger two different error messages in specific conditions
- Chart visuals may not reflect real-time or accurate price data
- In “Pay Amount” fields, entering a decimal value followed by pasting a negative number causes the open position button to reappear
- Cooldown timer may take extra time to reset and begin a new countdown
- Clicking the close button on popups linked to the main URL may cause the entire page to scroll
- Leverage values may show incorrectly during partial close in some trades
- When market skew approaches 150k, opening an opposite-side position may trigger a “value is out of range” error and disable the action button
- For users affected by max skew, adding collateral does not activate the button even if no new position is being opened
- In certain latency scenarios, it is possible to add collateral with leverage values below the 5x minimum
- Leverage values shown in “Add Collateral” and “Close Position” modals may round incorrectly (e.g., 4.99x or 5.01x instead of 5.00x)
- Validation prompts may show incorrect decimal precision for the selected token (e.g., 5.723 instead of 5.72)
- If a user enters a USD value for Stop Loss and then removes the percentage placeholder, the field may still display “NONE”
- Chart data may occasionally fail to load or appear blank
- Placeholder values may be shown in Stop Loss input even when no value is entered
- It’s currently possible to input leverage values below 5x during partial close
- Advanced users can manipulate slippage settings via browser inspect tools
What You Can Expect
We’ll continue to ship hotfixes and patches during the testnet period. These known issues are all being tracked and prioritized based on how they affect user experience and fairness. As always, your feedback helps.
If you come across bugs not mentioned here, you can report them in the official Dexlyn Discord or via the in-app bug report form.
This is a testnet. Bugs are expected. What matters is that we’re catching them fast and building something solid.
Let’s trade
